Scan Objects to find Floran Clues

I've scanned everything in all the temples and there's nothing left to scan, but the quest still isnt finished. What is there left to scan?! Help appreaciated.

You may need to find another temple or village. It's very rare to complete a scan quest at one landmark.

I found another one on another planet, but its identical.

Even identical places may have one or two things that are different. best is to search where they are most common, in the case of florans, forest planets. You should find them not too hardly.

Talk to the Floran, too. They have clues that contribute to the quest.

I can't talk to Florans if they all want me dead. The 2 places I've been to are just protected by evil Florans with guns.

Hm. Your best bet would be to try and find a Floran village; they have stuff to scan that the temples don't, and also have Floran you can talk to. The only problem is finding one.

Not really, no. I'm just referring to your luck with finding them.


I've found a couple on Savannah planets, so you might want to start looking there.

I've found Florans all freaking over.. even on frozen planets... Best overall strategy is just to visit as many planets as possible, plant flags at any major structures or villages.. If you dont need them now, just means you'll need them later.

As for Florans, you really just need to find a village and scan everything.. Temples usually have the skull masks which show green on scans and deliver allot of progress in the meter. Jungle and lush planets are the best places.

listen to the grandma. she gives you clues where their most likly to be found and florans are cockroaches they are everywhere. listen to quests on differnt planets the npc give you. they my lead you to a floran valley

OK. Ive been looking at these discussions on steam and searching it up. First, I checked every inch of forest planets. Zero flora villages or anything except pots (really useless). I also don't have fuel for my space ship to go to other areas, but I don't have any fuel and don't know what it is. Any help?

There are three different ways you can get fuel.

1. Mining. Go to any moon and start digging. Once you have any erchius fuel in your inventory, an erchius ghost will appear and start chasing you. It's essentially invulnerable, t moves really fast whenever it's far away from you, and also picks up speed based on the amount of fuel you're carrying. You might want to plan out an escape route ahead of time, but the moon is also pretty fast to mine up through if you're brave. Beaming up to the ship and returning to the moon with no fuel left in your inventory will reset the ghost until you mine some fuel again. Note that upgrading to mine liquids with the Matter Manipulator will help you gather fuel much quicker.
   
2. Buying. You can go to the Infinity Express on the left side of the Outpost and buy liquid erchius fuel, if you have a lot of pixels and really just hate those erchius ghosts.
   
3. Space Pirates. Once you have a mech, you can fight pirate ships that randomly appear on the system map, and sometimes they will have fuel containers on their ships. You can loot these for liquid erchius fuel.

Once you have the erchius fuel, just drop it into your ship's fuel storage and you're good to go.
