How do you fuel your ship?

Can someone please tell me how to fuel my spaceship? I tried chucking random items in but that didnt work:-:
Also, how do you teleprot to nearby ships? I've got a frinedly ship that wants me to visit but I have no idea how to get over there

You need erchius which I think you can buy from the gas station at the outpost, to go to ships you need a mech

You need combustible. First thing you should do is work toward making an EPP. (smithing) then you fly to a moon (this doesn't cost fuel) and go mine the crystal and the liquid if upgraded for fuel. You will be able to use those to fuel up your ship. In multiplayer, you need to be in party.

If you mean friendly ship as in a ship in space, you need a mech. Which needs quest done.

You need to fly your main ship to it with right click. Once you're there, you use your teleporter and you select "teleports Mech" or something like that. You'll be in space then follow arrow.

step 1:get a basic EPP
step 2:go to a random moon
step 3:gather fuel and run away from the purple ghost
step 4:have fun flying around!
