Deleted game, reinstalled to find out all saves lost
I came around one day to find out that starbound was un-installed from my PC so I re-installed it to play the new 1.3 update only to find out that all my characters were missing... somehow my game got reset and I don't know how, is there a way to recieve my saves from the steam cloud so I don't have to farm everything I lost? (I farmed this game on my free time for almost 3 months straight, I'm not gonna lie when I tell you that I refuse to play this game if I lost 3 months worth of farming all the vanity items, mats, blocks and decorations to enjoy the game to only have it all lost)

I don't think there is a way. You can use the /spawnitem admin command to quickly restock your items, but you will have to rebuild any buildings / bases you had. Sorry for your inconvenience.

When you delete a game... It is FULLY deleted (with saves and other stuff) (most of the time)

How can you wonder that your saves were gone?

The steam cloud ( from my knowledge ) shouldn't be affected when you uninstall a game; However, I see for a brief second once I close the game that Starbound syncs but after installing the game on my spare pc I never saw the save move over, this leads me to believe this game doesn't take advantage of steam cloud so I believe your saves were never backed up. This does bring up a tip of mine I use to prevent this, get yourself a cloud service and have it automatically sync your saves ( It's kind of a pain to sync each save folder but it gives peace of mind ) Sorry for your loss, I too collect most of the furniture I like. Let me know if you figure a way out, I couldn't find a way to force steam to sync a game, it kind of does it's own thing if that game supports it.

You assume Starbound uses Steam Cloud. It doesn't. Due to how Starbound saves data, it likely never will, either. Sadly, you'll just have to grind again.

make a backup from time to time direct from steam folder, inside strabound\storage folder, player and universe folder

please in future be careful and pay attention which of your steam games use the steam cloud, just because a game is on steam doesn't makes it utilizing the steam cloud to save the games.

dammit, I don't even remember un-installing it, I just woke up one morning and noticed that it wasn't installed on my computer. I guess I'll wait a few more patches before I get back into starbound unless I want to cheat in all my stuff.
