Do you know what the station costs? I'd like to "pay" for it by deleing the amount of mats it requires, so it doesn't feel as cheaty.
First they restrict us only to one meck. Fair enough.
But then forcing us, to either beam to the outpost, or any station with a mech section every time you want to switch any component...while they were perfectly knowing the mech can only be deployed from the ship, is plain inconvenient. Only a person, who doesn't play this or any game, can consider such a waste of time and clicks a good idea. Guess they just want us to use /admin command over and over again...
Wouldn't be a true Starbound update without such peculiar points after all. By now a lot of old players, including myself, are actual used to this. It never stopped me from playing.
Also, could always try to see if anyone found that ID for the stations so you can spawn them in. That is, if you don't mind using admin mode.
/spawnitem mechassemblystation 1
Should give you one after you /admin of course.
