Is there a place I can buy cotton? [SOLVED]

I just started and am doing the side quest "The Lost Teddy," but the cotton is really hard to find.
Is there a place I can buy the cotton?

You cannot buy cotton but look all over your lush planets since they will more than likely have lots of cotton and if not then search forest plants or take the plant in the ground and make a farm

unfortunately no. your best bet to get cotton would be either:
1.if you have any cotton plant seeds, then planting them and farming the cotton from that is a reliable way to get cotton.
2.(this option is better if you have completed the Erchius Mining Facility mission and repaired your ship) try going to a forest/garden planet and harvesting the cotton there.

I got enough cotton to make the teddy before anyone commented. Thanks for the help though!
