What are some examples on how to use /warp?
edit: the title seemed misleading, so I've changed it and some context to the OP.

I am confused on how exactly the /warp command is used, specifically, I want to know how to do the following:
  • warp to a position on a planet
  • warp from one planet to another, ideally, through /warp CelestialWorld
I ask this because /help provides no actual command examples, and I've found very little information on how to actually use server commands instead of dumb "guides" that show me everything that /help shows me and nothing else.

Do you mean teleporting from one planet ot another? Put down a flag that you can make from one of the tool bars at the right of your screen, or buy a teleporter at the outpost and place it down.

@esthergray I'm asking how to do this through admin commands, not through the game itself.

You may find http://starbounder.org/Commands to be helpful. In short, the /warp command takes a destination type and identifier as its argument. Appending =xcoord.ycoord to the end of the argument allows you to specify where in the destination you will appear. For example, /warp Nowhere=1000.650 will teleport you "nowhere" (that is, you will not teleport out of your current destination) and will make you appear at the location (1000, 650).

@QuaestComm

thank you for showing me how to warp in local space.

now, the reason I've been so confused with /warp is because I want to use /warp
CelestialCoordinates:X:Y:##:##

I don't understand CelestialCoordinates because the command pages never fully explained how to actually use it.
