How to collect animals?

Hello :)
I see a nice catalogue called "Collections Library" but after 5 hours of playing it is still empty in my case :< I tried to scann animals, but the game always states that there is nothing in their place. I tried also to catch animals in a Capture Pod, but none of animals reacted to it when I throw the Pod at them (both usuall "crawlers" and animals like rabbits or crabs). Killing also does not give any effect.

I tried to google that, but hey.. there are only old forum entries telling "hey! you should give as Collections Library" or wiki entries like "to collect you must collect" etc.

Do I have some sort of bug or I'm just.. stupid? :/

Firsth you need - is to damage the monster you want to capture. It need to be nearly dead. Second - throw this capture ball at this heavi damaged monster. Profit?
