I found my first one on a desert planet, going along with their western mojo.

I found one on a perfectly normal planet too, so I guess its luck of the draw.

Yeah, there is a slight chance to find colonies on all planets, i.e. a floran village on a lava world or a glitch castle on a lush world, they have lower chances than going to their normal planet types, such florans on a lava planet may be rarer than glitches, I think that's the plural, on a lush planet

I don't think any villages or dungeons appear on lush worlds besides mines and the gates.

As for Novakid villages, it really is just luck of the draw. I've never found them in the wild, just through coordinates shared online.

Here's the one I'm using to build a base:

Celestal Myriad II
X: -511314933 Y: 752399692

The town should be immediately left of the spawnpoint.

Found a beauty of a village on a Frozen planet. Obviously that's a bit late in the game, but it's a great locale.

Charr Wake IV - alpha
X: 318159979
Y: -365464470

Village is to your immediate right past the little nerd tower.
