Leave captured pet on my ship?
Hi, is there a way to leave a captured pet at a certain location like my ship or my home, in other words, prevent it from following me? I want this feature for cosmetic pets that aren't meant for battle so they stop dying.

There's a pod post that you craft to put the pod into. Once done, they spawn and just walk in the range of their posts and they just stay there

Awesome, thanks! I found what you mean - the "pet tether". Thanks for your quick help.
If you want a pet that won't die/attack, but still follow you, you can also use an Oblivious Collar!

Thank you for the tip! That sounds very useful. Hope I'm gonna find one of those.

The oblivious collar, Penny mentioned, is your best bet (for travelling). Just be carefull around lava, as pets will decide to take a dip, and even with the collar, they still get burned.

Pet tether, Raz3w1ll mentioned, will allow your pet to roam part of the ship, but sometimes they will just remain in some corner (so best to reposttion them to try to fix their pathfinding).

Also, word of warning when having multiple pets flying around a ship with automatic doors: it can get very, very anoying.

Yeah, I already noticed that - my Spookit just stuck to the tether and didn't move at all - in several locations. I already began to think it's supposed to be like that.
