Help me with my controls?

Hey! So I picked this game up not too long ago. Im a big time fan of the game and I started playing this game when I was ~6. I cannot rebind my keys to rotate left and right(Q and E) for the very annoying and stupid ones that my game refuses to let up(. and ,). Thanks for your help!

You need to use an external utility to cap the game's framerate to 60fps. https://pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Conflict:_Desert_Storm#Game_runs_too_fast_.2F_Mouse_too_sensitive

i dont know why you're having this problem, i was able to bind them just fine, you could use Razer Synpase (or whatever equivelent you have) to trick the game in to thinking that you're pressing something else, this has to be done with older games as older games dont recognise side mouse buttons, so what i do is i just trick the game in to thinking that the side mouse buttons are something random unused like the K and L key, and then bind the buttons to K and L, like i have my Reload button bound to the K key, so that then i can press my side mouse button to reload

I cannot rebind my keys at all. There is an option for restoring to default but no way to change the keys?

I have just returned to this game after a looong while and found that if you cannot change the key binding using the mouse just navigate using your keyboard. Go to the keyboard binding menu and and use your keyboard arrows to find the binding you want to change and press enter on your keyboard, choose then the new key are you are good to go.

Yuo have to highlight the key then hit enter and it should turn red.
