Is there a way to recover from this that maybe I am overlooking? I'm being wildly cautious while moving around to avoid it, but sometimes it just creeps up on me.

As the title says. I loved this game on the old Xbox. Bought this game for cheap on Steam in the recent sale but they did my boy absolutely dirty and it's practically unplayable. Is the Emulator version any better or will I forever have to dust off my old Xbox to play this gem?...
