Greetings, players!

As promised, version 0.5 is finally here! It's been 4 months of hard work creating new assets, new systems, and more content. We decided that releasing all the new content at once is a better way to handle updates for several reasons:
1 - It's easier to fix bugs when you already have all the systems in place and know that you won't be changing certain parts all the time.
2 - It provides a better experience for returning players to have a few extra hours of gameplay, rather than receiving a few minutes of new content every week.

We intend to continue with this way of working, releasing fewer but better updates for the game. We hope you understand.

Now let's talk about some new things! Some of the highlights of this version are:

A new map with a new mechanic that changes the player's speed depending on the surface they are on (water slows you down, and we plan to add more surfaces like this in the future):

Several new monsters that will appear on this new map depending on the tier you play in:

Reroll system, very useful in cases where you get 3 summon upgrades and you're not building that, and similar situations:

Bosses now belong to specific maps, making the player's experience less confusing:

Among various other things that have been modified and fixed.

- Added a message when the host left the game.
- Added "Achenar Studios" and "Sad Socket" intro scenes.
- Fixed "Refresh List" button outline thickness on lobbies list to be in pair with other UI elements.
- Fixed "Lobbies List" slot spacing.
- Fixed some monsters spritesheets with dead pixels.

- Fixed UI tooltip stats not showing proper data.

- Changed "Mrs. Jennette" start relic -> "Shrapnel Bullet".
- Changed mini boss -> buffed attack speed and bullet speed.

- Added 4 new relics, being one for each relic category.
- Added a grow effect for popups (like the "new tier unlocked" popup).
- Added "Victory", "Defeat", "Tier Unlock" sounds.
- Added new sounds for "Vampire" boss attacks.
- Added a small outline for things that weren't shown properly, like the vampire bat projectile.
- Added a red line showing the vampire shooting attack trajectory.
- Changed XP multiplier, is now based on stages and gives +25% XP scale for each player in the game, this provides a better balancing and helps prevent the player becoming unkillable due to level 1000+.
- Changed "Endless" mode, shark now spawns before ghasts.
- Changed Shark monster, now it gives damage per second instead of burst damage when getting out of the ground in a higher area, has more life and more damage, fixed spike particles.
- Changed Tier System, big rework with changes on waves/hordes/monsters on each tier.
- Changed "Vampire" boss, now it won't repeat attacks and now it's HP increases based on tier.
- Changed "Gillman" miniboss, increased mass, hp and shooting speed.
- Changed "Vampire's Bat Summon", decreased HP.
- Changed "Vampire Mask" relic, now it has a fixed stackable heal amount instead of using percentages (heal = relics amount), now it also takes advantage of "Holy Water" relic to increase the heal.
- Changed "Health Potion" collectable, now it heals to the max health.
- Changed "Ocarina" and "Crosier" relics, now they have bigger cooldowns and heal less.
- Changed "Holy Water" relic, decreased heal scale from 15% to 10%.
- Changed "Thunder Hammer" relic, now it won't damage players/summons, increased default duration from 2.5s to 5s.
- Changed "Collar" relic, increased relic stat/scale from 5 to 10.
- Changed "Tidbit" relic, increased relic stat/scale from 5 to 15.
- Changed "Biobomb" relic, decreased relic stat/scale from 50 to 20.
- Changed "Hourglass" relic, decreased relic stat/scale from 20% to 10% cooldown reduction.
- Changed "Bone" relic, relic timer decreased from 15 to 5, damage decreased from 20 to 5, hp decreased from 60 to 50, move speed scale decreased from 40 to 30, scale damage decreased from 20 to 5, hp from 30 to 10.
- Changed yellow exp gem, now it's bigger and gives more exp.
- Changed all exp gems shadow scale/positioning to look better.
- Changed some relics, they got a rework on the tier.
- Changed relics tier color, legendary is now yellow instead of orange.
- Fixed Main Menu music some times not playing upon starting the game.
- Fixed a bug where the Main Menu music would stop playing/have it's volume lowered when leaving a lobby after the game was just started.
- Fixed summons still taking damage from TNT and Attack Areas in general.
- Fixed Shark monster being pushed by summons.
- Fixed end game particles draw layer.
- Fixed player being able to move, shoot and take damage even after the game ends.
- Fixed a bug where the dog summon would continue to give damage to the boss even after it stops touching it.
- Fixed an event and FPS inconsistency on animations.
- Fixed some non-relevant errors.

Also, there is probably some other minor changes that were forgotten.

- Added achievements, currently there's 8 achievements but we'll implement more

- Changed "olmech" monster base damage to 20, it was 30
- Fixed end game panel hover on relics
- Fixed some minor bugs that doesn't impact directly on the gameplay
- Removed TNT summon/players damage

- Destroying summons/monsters on game end to prevent errors.
- Bigger end game panel to fit "New tier unlocked" message.
- Health potions will now blink and self-destroy after 30 seconds to prevent lags and better scene view.
- XP multiplier scale for "Endless Mode" increased, it should now be easier to level up.
- Monsters HP scale per wave decreased, it should now be easier to get to higher waves.

- Game does not disconnect players when the match ends anymore.
- Chat is now enabled when the match ends so players can communicate.
- Sending a chat message when the host leaves at the end of the match.
- Reworked end game panel -> added "add friend" button, relics that players has collected, players level.
- Added a new monster to both "endless" and "default" game modes.
- Fixed enemy shader "blink", it should look smoother.

- Fixed disappearing cursor at the end of the game while playing on gamepad.
- Fixed Rich Presence on endless mode that was showing max waves.
- Fixed monster blink when getting hit not executing some times.
- Changed "Crosier" heal effect sprite to a higher resolution one to scale properly.
- Changed "Endless" mode: Increasing monster HP and damage each 10 waves on endless gamemode.
- Changed "Endless" mode: Decreasing XP gain on endless gamemode after a certain number of waves.
- Updated game engine and third-party packages to their latest versions, this should increase the performance and fix some bugs on gamepads/others.

- Added Endless/Infinite game mode.
- Added a miniboss that appears on Default mode.
- Added missing lights effects to bullets (vampire, turret and monster projectiles).
- Added green light to Fairy from Ocarina so it won't be seen as a monster.
- Added current tier to game scene so players know which tier they're playing.
- Added a notification when you unlock a new tier, as most players didn't knew there was more than 1 tier.
- Added partial gamepad support (Xbox/PS controllers, but should work some generic ones too).
- Changed lobby tier to skull icons instead of numbers to be more visible.
- Fixed In-Game button margins to prevent text getting out of the buttons.
- Fixed Relic descriptions, Ice Gem was showing the wrong value, Berserk and Holy Water was not setting the stats properly and Powder Bag was not showing the color codes correctly,
- Fixed Upgrades UI in front of "Wave Start" UI.
- Fixed Lobby UI bug where sometimes it would place one player in front of another.
- Fixed some localization issues with some UI elements.
- Fixed a bug when the host leaves during game causing the game to freeze.

- Fixed Vampire shoot attack missing players.
- Fixed Vampire hitboxes.
- Fixed bug where player would stop being revived if another player tried to revive at the same time.
- Fixed 21:9 resolution UI being cut by the wave panel.
- Removed unused debug folder to decrease build size.
