With a Uncorrected Blades of the Darkmoon Covenant, and with a Broken Mechanics of circles from Miracles from the other Connected Worlds, with completely broken weapon scaling to a character (I confirm as a fan of lvl 10 twinks with obsidian sword and a fire glove +15)

When will the remaster shut down so that we can have this back? For the sake of everyone who loves Dark Souls, kill the unmastered version and bring PTDE back

Nothing sadly, remaster is here to stay.
Bamco won't bring back PTDE, much less patch it ever again. Nor will the remaster be patched to look as good as PTDE with dsfix.
The irony is, the remaster on switch mostly has the exact same graphics as PTDE, but all the menu features, bugs, and extra bonfire from the remaster here on steam and other consoles. Has worse audio quality though, and it's still 30fps. Ultimately, no out of the box version of Dark Souls is definitive, and bamco has no interest in changing that.

I didn't say anything in that time but they can use virtual machines. A virtual machine can be configured to run old software without much trouble. And they can mitigate the shortcomings using modern firewalls. So I guess they don't wanted to spend money on maintaining that service.

guys whoever has ptde we can play it online through spacewar and dscm mod on nexus mods, just add a steam_appid.txt folder and in it type 480, then open game and launch dscm too then we can play online
