people these days don't know google
It seems to enable the transfer of save games from 360 to pc, allright, but will it work in this particular case ? I mean, do all 360 save files work with pc versions of the games ? It'll be crazy...
It may work, although I wouldn't know, since I haven't tried the program I linked to, yet. Maybe it is not possible to do with some games? Are you certain it won't work?
Apparently someone prefers a tool called Horizon which you can find here: http://download.cnet.com/Horizon/3000-2130_4-75452078.html
Again, I haven't tried the tools and won't be able to since I don't own a xbox, although I am certainly willing to do some more googling to help you figure this one out :)
EDIT:
More info on how to possibly be able to do it from this thread: http://soulswiki.forumsrpg.com/t4595-dark-souls-xbox-savegame-files-to-usb
Quote:
"Yes you can tranfer your saves onto a flash drive (Tranfer not copy) and then you have to download you gamer tag to the other xbox and when your booting up your Dark souls game it gives you the option to select hard drive choose the flash drive.
Note you need to plug your flash drive into your xbox and configure it before you use it to hold your saves.
Other Side note is to make sure you have everything off your flash drive since when it is configured it gets wiped."
EDIT2: I just noticed he is talking about transferring the save to another xbox but this may be possible to do with a PC, too.
EDIT3: http://www.360haven.com/forums/showthread=16271-%5Brelease%5D-%5Bremake%5D%5Bpc-xbox360%5D-dark-souls-save-editor-v3-0-5-0-a-13.html
This might help too, it is a savegame editor for Dark Souls with a corresponding loooong looong thread.
I wonder : xbox 360 is the same as Windows Live, isn't ? So i should be able to just load my cloud save either in a 360 or a pc. Just dreaming.
Do you have a friend who owns the game on both, the xbox and pc and thus you could try? Maybe there is someone here, on these forums who has an xbox version up and running and a pc version too and could confirm this?
Maybe you could write to "Bandai Namco" support:
http://www.namcobandaigames.com/support
and ask them.
But this one suggest it could be tried : http://social.bioware.com/forum/1/topic/323/index/9676670/1
The second suggestion sounds somewhat like the first suggestions I made with the Game Editors. I think it could be your best bet to figure out how that works and try it. Shouldn't be too difficult to do in principle. But may not work, still.
On the other hand it would be annoying for you to buy the game on PC and then not to be able to do what you want. Maybe you would be able get an unofficial statement out of someone at GFWL support or Bandai support. Sometimes they know more about what has been attempted by people and if it has worked (although you have to be incredibly lucky to have someone who doesn't just copy and paste answers).
Remember to make backups before doing anything. Good Luck!
so how did it go anything that works?
