Any reason to put more points into endurance past 40?
My char build is very simple, I'm just aiming for a very lightweight, high dex damage dealer. As far as I know, there are no more stamina benefits past lvl 40 endurance. The only reason to continue SLing endurance would be to slowly be able to carry more and more weight so that you can be agile with heavier armor, right?

It just seems like it would take eons, possibly dozens of soul levels, to scale the weight capacity so that heavier armor falls into the lightweight category (which I believe is around 23 or less). Meanwhile I could be throwing that into more dex or vitality for immediate benefits, and reinforcing the light armor I wear.

You're better off with higher stam regen than more stamina past END40. You're best off dumping points into vit/whatever your scaling damage derives from.

There's not much point in taking any of the stats past level 40 really, unless you're not concerned about PVP and have all the other starts requisite to your build at 40.

The returns beyond 40 are heavily diminished so you need to pump a few levels into a stat to see any return, which just becomes a waste of souls unless you've already maxed out everything else. Even then they would be better spent on gear.

so that heavier armor falls into the lightweight category (which I believe is around 23 or less).

25% of your total weight capacity or less. If you have 100 max weight, then 25 is your total load for speed. Add on Havel's Ring and the Ring of Valour, and you can get that even higher.

If you don't plan on going way higher level keeping it at 40 is enough.

For me when I'm gonna go for like lvl 200+ or something I'm going to boost up End a bit more. As it'll allow me to wear various gears with just Havel ring without going over 50%. Before I had to use the Ring of Favor and Protection.

But you'll only get more Equip load after 40 too.

I'd probably put it into Vit more than End though if you're planning on to save points.

i chose to put 56 into endurance so i could use havel's armor and giant legs at the same time, with the man serpent great sword while still getting fast roll, sl115. i'm a faith/str character so for me 30 faith and 28str was enough, leaving 38 points for vit.

Thanks for the input. This will help me make a more informed decision in the future. Both my vitality and dex are close to reaching 40 (I'm lvl 79 so far), so I'm not sure... I suppose I'll go for intelligence after that to see if I can find some spells that would effectively accomodate an agile dex character.
