Onebros - Unite!
What is a Onebro? A miserable little pile of secrets. But enough talk… Have at you!

Actually, a Onebro is one who takes on one of the games most difficult, but most rewarding challenges. Becoming a darkwraith, and finishing the game, without ever spending a single soul in gaining levels.

Being a Onebro can be hard. O&S are no walk in the park, and the four kings will make you rage, but that's why we gotta help a fellow bro out!

To help facilitate this, come join our little group. We shall endeavor to be wherever we're needed. For PVP or Jolly Co-operation, tips or pure moral support.

Even if you don't join the group, post here. share your tips, ask for help, and Praise The Sun!

I'm confused as to how being a darkwraith makes it harder. If by harder you mean 'more able to invade low levels to prove my skill because killing a low level is tough for me' then of course, that makes perfect sense.

no, it's just tha tif you're going to do that, there's no point in doing it other than to be a low level darkwraith. A more realistic and less douchy objective would be like level 20 or 30.

Better join the Dark Wraith Slayers, Hihg level players with top of the line equipment playing the victims for this cheap dark wraiths and keeping them aay from noob rich areas

Low Level Darkwraiths are a lot of fun if you play it well. Don't use your maxed out gear in Burg PVP, teach the new players the ropes of PVP combat.

Basically, there's people who do it to ruin other peoples fun, and people who make it an awesome experience. I've been lucky enough to be invaded by honorable fighters and some of those low level fights have been the best ones. End game top of the line gets boring, you see the same gear and specs over and over again and it becomes samey, low level PVP is much more rewarding.

I've lost count of how many times I've been invaded in the Undead Parish by people with maxed out armor and some lightning weapon (usually a Zweihander). Whether or not they used the bottomless box glitch doesn't matter, it's a ♥♥♥♥ move to use that against someone who would probably lose even if you fought naked with a shortsword.

Dark moon blades should be a counter for this cheap grievers but the way the blue eye orb works and the always faulty GFWL matchmaking system makes DMB useless against low level DW,

if Lautrec or any one else reading this post would like to give these griever a pay back i would suggest you to joing the DWS:

If you wanted to combat SL1 Darkwriths the best think you can do is become an SL1 Darkwraith yourself and don't kill the Tarus demon. That way when we invade an area we have a chance of invading you, and then we also get a fun fight.

You could also do Darkmoon, not kill taurus and indict us to allow other players to also invade, but that only works in an area where the boss isn't dead.

Or, realise that SL1 Darkwraith does not equal griefer, and go for hackers instead.

Hmph, sure I bet killing low SL is fun at first, but then it's gets boring without feeling of loss.

Oh, there's plenty of loss, it's not all low level invades, you're able to invate inifnetly above your level, meaning that one guy you go up against might be SL5, the next SL200

I'm right now at SL 86, no one really invades me, though in new location after second boss seems like a new pvp place.
Megabound Sep 30, 2012 @ 3:12am
Yea, it's insane there, I had some good fights with my Str build in that location.
Zombine Sep 30, 2012 @ 3:17am
Though, I might reconsider joining in, but does it worth all the trouble going at almost all locations at SL1?

Also I have moderate NAT and closed UPnP, how high my chances of invasions will be?

Have you been invaded before, or ever tried to invade someone? I'd recommend getting a few Cracked Red Eye orbs on your old character and trying to invade some people after the Artorias boss fight.

Completing the areas isn't too bad. You have to fight smarter and use more pyromancies, to that effect it's best to get to the depths as quick as possible to get the first pyromancer shop open so you can upgrade your flame. Best weapon is generally considered to be the Battle Axe and you'll want at least 3, a +5 Lightening, a +10 Fire and a standard for the really low level guys.

Boss fights are challenging, but not as hard as you may think. I've never considered my SL1 very underpowered and I've killed every boss so far (Just finished O&S and Sif) on my 2nd go at most.

Oh, starting gift should be the Master Key and starting class has to be Pyromancer, no one else starts at level 1.

Even without becoming a Dark Wraith it's a really fun way to play the game.

Sure I invaded people and been invaded, I think I have 2 cracked orbs left, (there was 7 of them in entire game without buying them) Though I joined Darkmoon and it's really disappointing, I've had like only 2 invasions with my blue orb in new forest location and like 4 invasions with my covenant ring. But hell, I've had a lot of fun in Forest Hunter covenant at level 30-40. I've had an invasion every 5 minutes. My current class is mid-armour using silver knight set +5, claymore +15 and he's pyromancer/mage/cleric. Mostly I'm using pyromancy for my game, because it's fun. And thank you for the tips, I'm totally doing it.
