Ornstein and Smough where are the Summon signs??

Im getting crazy on these 2 bosses. I m trying them since 3 days. I already walked all way back to level up my Falchion and then make Queelags fury sword out of it, I got Havels Ring to take on harder armor.

But my question now is why are there now summon signs except the Solair NPC one? I was walking around as human but I never see any there. Thats strange. Are these 2 so hated that noone wants to help eather?

either at the bonfire within the building or directly in front of the fog, but there is the possibility your level is too high/low and you dont see them. there are usually a ton of white signs, havent seen more anywhere, and even on ng+.

hmmmm i am at sl 42. maybe thats too low?

maybe slightly. its a decent farming place, just do that as human for a few sl and while doing so check the mentioned spots from time to time.

you were right. i am now lvl 46 and there are quite some signs there. will go on till lvl 50 and then lets fetz^^

I accidently up to SL67 farming Phalanx trying to get rid of my crutch havels ring before I noticed. Oops.

iam sitting at the bonfire where solaire was sitting with my sign i need a few medals so summon me lvl 40

i am now lvl 50 and at the bonfire where solaire was sitting. im hollow - the only way how to get humanity now there is to help others right? or is there any other way? now I managed to kill ornstein, but super smough killed me instantly with his hammer on the floor... but I never was as far like that. thx to the guy who helped... next time we rule

Seriously this boss is driving me insane! no summon signs anywere to be found! went in once with one guy and well he lasted about 10 seconds :/ . Ill try and be on tonight around 10.30PM UK TIME. im human, ill need help beating them, and dont mind going hollow to help someone either. Just stick your summon signs down at around 10.30 at the bonfire or on the corridor outside the bonfire and we'll hit some people up! im level 53SL btw if this helps. Good luck, hopefully see some of you tonight!

Sorry to hijack, but I am stuck on these guys as well. I have tried Humanity twice: First I got invaded and one-shotted by some guy's halo of stars-thing-spell and the second time I didn't seem any stronger in the fight than I was as a hollow. Am I missing some reason people bother with Humanity? i.e. - "Does Leo's ring not drop for a hollow or something?"

You can use humanity to become human, to kindle bonfires and to heal yourself if you use the item. The point of becoming human is to be able to summon people or to get invaded to make pvp.
It doesn't affect your stats or anything.

For the fight summoning is very useful, because you can split up in the beginning and especially ornstein is very tough for many people in the second stage of the fight.
For the Leo ring you have to kill smough first (the fat guy) and kill ornstein second. You'll get Ornsteins soul and doomhall sells his armour at firelink. If you kill Ornstein first, you'll get Smoughs soul, his armour and no ring...

omg thats really hard fight.... now I managed for the first time to be in a fight (I got summoned) and to kill both of them - so I got Humanity and could summon myself other warriors. problem was we got invaded and I managed to get killed. awesome - frustrating - all at the same time...

hmmm its strange last time i got summoned every 3-10min now I wait and I m not gettint summoned at all. still same sl (50) and I need that humanity so hard cause I still havent defeated these 2 in my world...
