I didnt get the key from the dude on New Londo. So all my first playtrough the game was in vain ?!
I will have to restart the game , whitout even finishing my first time to the game ?! This is... this is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ man. ;/

Not sure he'll still drop the key for you if you dont have the lordvessel

I read that is a bug in this pc version, on console, he always drop when killed. But not on pc, and not for me --' . I want to know if another player can give to me you know if is possible?

that happent to me long time a go, you can not do anything because other players can nott give you the key, so the only what you can do is delete that save, sorry but is like this, you are lucky becuse that happent to your first game, that happent to me in my NG+++, so i lose a SL 110 char.

Did you check the chest next to King Frampt? Sometimes the game is smart enough to put "lost" items there, I've heard.

(King Frampt == big snoring ugly dude that eats your stuff on the way to TotG - I think I'm remembering his name correctly)

The empty chest behind frampt is for lost quest items.

Check there, hopefully its there.

I cheked, and there is nothing there. That save is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ :S i search in the wikis and say it "!!!!IMPORTANT NOTE FOR PC VERSION!!!!: On the PC PTD Edition, killing Ingward is currently bugged, and he may not always drop the Key to the Seal. It is currently unknown what causes this, but the key becomes completely unrecoverable (quitting/loading or visiting the chest in Fire Link Shrine do not work) effectively preventing you from completing the game."

you could alwasy cheat it in.. to fix the bug..

How do you fix the bug by editing files? I'm in the same boat with an SL150 NG+ character.

I have the fix!

You can download a thing called Cheat Engine. You have to select the DATA.exe as the program, and then search for the memory array 0040DA07000001, and then change the DA part to DD.

Important also, if the DD keeps changing back to DA after you have changed it, run Cheat Engine as an administrator, then after you change it, just wait a while before going back into the game. You also have to have the game running while doing this. If it works, the key should magically appear in your inventory
