With very very high intel enchanted is better...but you won't raise your intel that high.
Are enchanted weapons a better route to go than say, buffed weapons?
(like the Balder Side Sword mentioned here) really wrecks everything.
The problem is having to apply the buff.
You really need to use the everlasting dragoncrest ring with the buffs......and preferably power within while you're doing a "limited time" thing... but the damage payoff is def. worth it (crystal magic weapon anyway)
Power Within + crystal magic weapon + everlasting DC ring is a pretty well known combination I believe - it is BRUTAL.
The Bellowing ring is useless for Power Within + crystal magic weapon + everlasting DC ring, since Power Within is pyro and crystal magic weapon damage is unaffected by the bellowing ring. This combo is for melee strategy and probably best serves (/has best served me as) a combo melee/magic character.
But yes you are right - before you go into combat you have to decide whether you are spellcasting or melee with a buffed weapon, since there's no swapping rings mid-combat...... It's sometimes convenient to have the option to pick between the two styles.
Personally when I have a combo melee/magic character my intelligence never gets too high anyway, I only level enough to use Great Magic Weapon since I prefer a melee character.
But that's just me. If you prefer spellcasting, this option is not for you :/
That's the Moonlight Greatsword, and the scaling is "A".... there is no "S" scaling :/
Actually it does, but you will have to upgrade to +1 to get the "S" scaling
........it seems that I owe you an apology. I stand corrected. (wtf is "S" scaling?!)
