updated topic to "all in one" mode
You dont need to reinstall/redownload the entire game even if you didnt make a backup by the way, just right click on Dark Souls in your steam library, select properties and verify integrity of game cache. It will just redownload the four files affected by the reddit rollback.
Cheers for the mousefix btw, now I can enjoy the game as it´s meant to again!
Just because there was far too many errors about old DSFix files was not deleted even when it was just DSFix updating its version without any compatibility problems with game versions. And now we have all of this - crossed incompatibilities both from game versions and DSFix versions ^_^
Then in steam verify the game integrity and this will download these 4 files and that's all this should do it, now the game will not crash.
