With the subject of cosplay in dark souls...I want to know who your favorite character to cosplay in the game is and why. Mine is Ornstein because I like his armor and like his ability with lightning.

Try to do a low-level Hollow Thief build. Sure will be a lot of fun.
Also, you can make a Laurentius of the Great Swamp cosplay, but that way you will have to use less powerful pyros( unless you do a low level build, which i think will be good for cosplaying him). But, if you want to make a Sl 100-125 build, you should choose Quelana.

Im guessing the hollow theives of lower undead berg are the only choice as i dont think there was an actual thief NPC or boss.

There's a Thief NPC in the forest, wearing a Ring of Fog.

You can try Patches. He's not a thief but close to one. He even wears the thief set sans hood. Your only weapons will be winged spear and eagle shield. If you invade, be sure to try to trick someone to getting an item near a ledge then kick them down.

If you're going Patches you should really go the whole hog and pull the meanest tricks you can think of. How about pretending to be a friendly and luring new players into the basilisk-infested lower parts of the Depths with the promise of treasure?

I know it sounds boring, but because of the challenge, the most fun I've had in PvE in awhile is on my low level hollow soldier build. No attunement slot, limiting myself to only what is scavenged from undead soldiers and warriors with the exception of rings.

I've tried this a few times and it's worked only once, but SO worth it when it did: invade the forest, host is by the bridge, bow, drop a chunk to show how friendly I am... go to the ledge as they are picking it up, do the "joy" animation and then point before backing off just a little bit. When they went close, kicked them off the ledge.

I know I looked like an idiot the times it didn't work, but that once was worth it.

The only perfect cosplay char I have so far is Patches, I like annoying people in Sens Fortress with him, still I think it gets boring fast because if you want to fight like Patches, you don't have much to choose from and there aren't enough places where you can use mean tricks to win

patches sounds like the popular choice. when i think thief though, i think bandit knife usage and daggers. if patches is good, what the setup for a look-a-like of him, armor wise?
