Depends on your faith, if you go to 50 faith then Occult is better than divine. If not then I'd generally go with divine longsword as astoras doesn't scale all that well

Astora's straight sword serves well at the beginning of the game, but long term when you have the faith for it, a divine longsword will serve you better. If you're willling to kill Solaire, the sunlight straightsword is another option: a bit more damage than the LS, same moveset, bit fractionally slower.

I'm not gonna laugh at you since I had a question like this before. Longsword all the way in the long run. Unless you're Cosplaying as Oscar.
