Bear in mind, though, that Motionjoy is known to be somewhat suspicious, potential adware, and it's harder than it should be to remove from your computer.
There are other solutions for PS3 controller users that use the MotionJoy drivers, but not the potentially malicious software.
Just a heads up! Personally, I don't think MotionJoy has caused any notable harm on my computer, and I still use it.
Analogue sticks and the D-pad can have the direction changed faster, and the buttons can all be tapped quicker due to less button resistance in a DS3 controller. 360 controller may fit better in most players hands, but IMO, the DS3 is just superior when playing.
I use Windows 7 64 bits and the following has worked for me. Use it at your own risk, I had no troubles with it but some people I think they had.
Also, don't forget to remove everything related to MotionInJoy before attempting this.
You can either follow the rest of the instructions there, or follow the rest of my instructions here.
If not, just don't install Bluetooth Driver, and you're ready to go, press Install.
Now you can simply plug in/plug out your controller whenever you want to use it, without the need of having to open MotionInJoy and stuff, pretty much like if you were playing PlayStation with it.
Warning: I warn you again, I had no problems with this method, I've used it for a long time, explained it to friends of mine and they had no problems either. Still, use it at your own risk, I won't be responsible for what it can do to your computer or components.
Have fun! ;)
PS3, and yes the PS3 controller is superior in every way. Every button is pressure sensitive, most accurate d-pad in the world, and all the buttons are perfectly spaced.
Open ScpDriver.exe and uninstall everything, then install again. Do this with your controller connected to the computer. It works for me everytime, let me know if it did for you aswell. Cheers!
That's odd, I don't have any insight about that particular problem... Try deleting/uninstall everything, restarting your computer, and doing the whole process again. Did it work in any game at all at least? Also, what's your OS?
Cheers!
