is there an easier way down from sens fortess or do i have to go through traps again

Once you finish Anor Londo, you gain the ability to teleport between bonfires. If you haven't beaten the two bosses there, however, the only way back down is through the fortress.

well at some point near the top of sens fortress there is a rectangular room with two cages in it. open the left cage (might be right) and step inside for instant elevator.

Wait what. I've put like 280 hours into the game and have no idea what you're talking about. Do you have a video or something of this by chance?

If you start at the place you land from Anor Londo, cross the bridge and enter the tower. Take out the crossbow guy and follow that path to the lower floor in the tower. There should be a giant hole in the middle with 2 cages. If you go to the front of the cage on the left and have the cage key in your inventory it will open and the two cages will alternate top/bottom. It'll bring you right next to the lizard after the first set of swinging axes.

To get the cage key exit the area with the cages heading toward the baulder. Turn left when you can and head over to the broken section of the bridge or whatever it is. Roll jump across and then go to the bottom of the tower you just entered. Kill the lightning snake and loot the dead guy behind the snake for the key.

I should probably have just googled a video instead of typing all that....

Once you get past the tiny bridge climb up the stairs through the fog door, there is a ledge with a bonfire that leads back outside the fog door. there is also a key with opens a cage shortcut. to get the key jump across the broken bridge and run down the staircase. there is a serpent caster who has the Cage Key. go to where the Iron Golem fog door is and there is a cage that leads to the entrance of Sen's Funhouse that works like the Undead Parish shortcut.
