How To Join The Sunbro Covenant Of Awesomeness.

Sunbro? wanna become one? wanna magnificently save the day with some jolly co-operation?
wanna have that shmexy victory pose that is the envy of the dark souls universe everywhere due to being an outright classy denial of its dark, grim and downright depressing themes?
well then, you've come to the right thread!

First and foremost, You need to find knight solaire so that he can gift you your very first complimentary white soapstone.
second, you can do one of two things, one, you can engage in early co-operation without the sunbro covenant a few times, succeed enough and you'll reduce your faith requirement by 5 each time you kill an area boss as a phantom.

Requirements in general: In order to become a sunbro you need a total faith of 25, should you not have it, despair not! for jolly co-operation will, as previously mentioned, reduce that nasty number by a total of 5 each time. once you have your faith requirements down, approach the dragon bridge, ruled by the fearsome hellkite dragon, time it right,
(and by that i mean just lure the dragon onto the bridge and run for the bonfire like you've got a fire lit underneath you, because in about 5 seconds, that's exactly what's going to happen to you.) and then turn right to the broken statue with all of the weeping hollows.
at the base of this statue you can finally begin your tenure as a sunbro, complete with obligatory golden glow and manly T-stance.
oh, and you get to fling overpowered lightning bolts at everything, but that hardly matters now does it?

Once a sunbro, co-operation will net you a sunlight medal for every successful boss attempt. at levels 23 to 25 i suggest practicing on the capra demon, you'll find an abundance of heroes in need of a sunbro at your back, and it'll prepare you for the time when you have to face it yourself.
stock up on roughly ten of them to recieve the much more potent bolts, among other things which i have yet to discover.
Drawbacks.
You will not be a darkwraith, spirit of vengeance, or dragon food so long as you are a sunbro, also, using certain spells to bring summon circles to you more commonly is less effective due to your nature as a "lawful neutral" in the realm of lordran. you are only in it for the rights of being a sunbro, not a warm fuzzy feeling or ultimate evil, you are there for you, and possibly your covenant, but mostly for the right to help others on your own terms, with little to no regulations, though, admittedly, killing knight solaire will make us all very, very unhappy with you.
and it's a betrayal of your covenant.
and it's really mean, especially if you write "praise the sun" right where you backstabbed him.....meanies....
and that is my understanding of the sunbros, the warrior of sunlight covenant, jolly co-operation at its finest!

TL;DR version:
Don't get burnt to a crisp by the dragon, turn right and be a sunbro with 25 faith or 4 or more co-ops under your belt. shoot lighting out of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hands and glow while T-stancing in style. what's not to like? aside from the uselessness of multiplayer miracles?

Please be sure to read the description more carefully.
the requirements are lowered if you are summoned to kill a boss and kill it.
not if you summon others to kill said boss in your world.
