How to trigger RIPOSTE

Hi guys, Im trying to learn riposte and I just don't know what im doing wrong. I know how to parry and i can parry almost everything. Can you please explain to me how to trigger it.

It's as easy as stand in front of them and use the light attack after you've parried.
Bear in mind that the weapon has a certain reach and that you may have to get closer to the enemy, and also that there are some enemies you can parry but can't riposte.

Also remember that not all weapons can riposte. Whips, Shields, Talismans, the Pyromancy flame and Catalysts can't be used to riposte.

Guys, I have the same issue here, but Im starting to believe I have some bug... ;/
I practiced parrying with some resault, and read a lot of guides about them moves. Every guide (such as one above) says its only a matter of pressing H button (at the moment I use keyboard) after a successful parry to make a riposte. Well, I have been playing this game for some time and did just ZERO ripostes! I made a short video of my struggle to show you and let you help me somewhat. >here

I used three weapons: two daggers (I think) and fists. Sometimes I tried to come as close to staggered opponent, sometimes I wanted to make insta [H] hit right after parry. I understand some of these moves were ill timed or were not supposed to succeed, but come on! Something is wrong here. Any thoughts?

Riposte should trigger on any enemy that's vulnerable to it, if you succesfully parry and the enemy can be hit with a riposte it should trigger if you swing your fast/weak attack immediately after the parry. Almost all humanoids are vulnerable to it, such as skeletons and knights.

You're not parrying, you're blocking. Left trigger or tab to parry.

You are blocking, not using riposte.. ( video )

5 seconds were enough. You're not parrying. Parry is L2 on the controller, not sure what it's on the keyboard. you're just blocking at the time an enemy attacks.
