Your most hated/annoying zones/enemies
I want to start a thread where players can tell their frustrations and mishaps related to their most hated and/or annoying zones and enemies.

The first enemy that comes into mind in regards to ANNOYANCE has got to be the blighttown mosquitos: they all over the place ! when they come from bellow, they get stuck in the planks and can pottentially !#$ your aim and send you off the edge.

The most HATED enemy...hmm... it's a hard one, but I guess I'll go with those harpy b$@es and the stone giants in oolacile.

Hated zones: I hate blighttown from the bottom of my HEART. I loathe dukes archives (and the crystal caves after that) as being extremely annoying.

Most annoying enemy is definately the mosqeets in b town. Unbelievably so. I remember fumbling with my weapons and gear to prep as I got notified for an invasion while knee deep in the poop water. Then winning because the invader, for some reason, didn't have the rusted ring on so I kept zapping him with soul arrows. Sure enough the steady stream of mosquitos approaching were being managed. Never noticed that the entire time I was backing into the rock throwing thugs shoreside...

Most hated would be the titanite demons in the basement of Sen's Fortress. At least they didn't respawn.

Most hated region....hmmmm. I would have to say the great hollow. It's already a pain the ass to tightrope up and down from ash lake, but then to deal with the basilisks, no thanks.

I haven't gone through New Londo yet, Duke of A, or the painted world yet, so i might change these perceptions.

When getting into Anor Londo, The knights with bows. I ♥♥♥♥ up everytime.
Poison arrows, my friend. Throw 2~4 (until you can see their health bar depleting on its own) and just sit back and wait.

People keep talking abt poison arrows. For the life of me I can't imagine how I can stick my head out to manually aim at them :(. Or do I have to use it w/ fog ring?

Thats what im thinking, Maybe next time ill remember to pick some up, Its just that when you are there, you just wanna get past so you can get the lordvessel and warp like crazy.

Fog Ring would probably help, but the easy way to go is hiding behind that big tower/pillar thing you have to walk around: There's a sweet spot from which you can hit the knight on your right (thanks to the arc that your arrows do), but you're still obscured enough that his arrows will always hit the wall (and the knight on the left can't even see you, so don't worry about him).

Once you're done with the guy on the right, it's much safer to run up and take down the other one.

On a more general note, keep in mind that you can roll to the side while aiming (even if you have an arrow ready, as long as you keep the button pressed), which helps quite a bit with greatbow knights, since I'm pretty sure their arrows kind of follow you a little bit. Just be wary of not rolling off a cliff, of course, since your vision will be quite limited.

I got him down with Gough's greatbow (or the dragonslayer bow), 3 hits and he's off the edge.
I have played this game more than enough, and I am a decent player (honest!). However my most hated enemey is going to go against all that.

It's the Dogs, the ones in the undeadburg. Idk if it's because I don't use big weapons often or magic, but I made two new characters (mage, heavy weapons) and both fell victim to the damn things a few times. I have the hang of them now, but each time they dodge one of my attacks I rage :/

Area I hate the most has to be Lost Izalith because of the bed of chaos, no other reason.

Screw Crystal Caves, right in their jagged rear end.

That is all.

Blighttown is the worst area by far, the geometry is awful and sliding off of things you by all rights should be able to stand on is beyond obnoxious. Not to mention essentially acting as a gear check with the abundance of poison/toxic.

Otherwise I think I've enjoyed every other every of the game thus far, the archers in Anor Londo are midly annoying but if you have a Ring of Fog you can deal with them really easily. Mimics are also somewhat irritating the first time you encounter once, but from then on it just takes a bit of paranoia to avoid them being any threat (Besides the obvious counter in other players soap stones).

Most hated? Oolacile Township, because I can't play there in human form for two minutes without getting invaded all the time.

There`s no reason to go human in Township other than PvP... and Chester I guess but it`s not like that gets you anything.

Yeah, being human in Township is an open invitation to invaders.

You know, I just reached Blighttown in NG+ last night, and I have to say I like that area. A lot, actually. It's pretty brilliant from a design standpoint, when you analyze it objectively: You know where you need to go, you can see the swamp at the bottom at all times, it's like it's teasing you, you wish you could just climb down the wooden structure and be done with it in a few minutes; and yet you have to navigate the whole maze, chasing the torches looking for ladders, fighting the quite resilient monsters, and be quite careful at all times too, because there are a thousand ways to fall off to your death. There is a bit of genius in the idea behind the layout.

♥♥♥♥ those mosquitoes, though :P

One area I really hated is Great Hollow/Ash Lake. It's beautiful to look at, but the fact that it's such a dead end is a pain in the ass. If you were dumb (or just desperate) enough to rest in one of the bonfires, you're ♥♥♥♥♥♥, you have to backtrack up the entire thing, and it's quite the ordeal.

worst enemy for me: skeleton dogs
worst zone: tomb of the giants

P.S. those clams in the crystal cave are pain in the butt as well
