Is there a way to fix sound lag/delay?

I've played DS in Jan-Feb: everything were fine after applying DSfix.

Today, I get noticable sound delay (sound disconnected from action in game, whenever it is weapon swing or start menu). I've searched google, pcgamingwiki, saw people with same issue, but no answer what causing this. Anyone here got any idea how to get rid of that lag?

Same here, I played in January, DSfix, everything's good. Then today I played and theres this like half second delay in all sound effects, menus and ingame. Anyone who knows how to deal with this would be great

It is a weird way to fix it, but try to reboot. Yep. For some reason after a 2 month uptime of my rig a sound delay appeared; everything is alright after reboot.

ok wierd, that totally fixed it. I also hadn't restarted my computer in forever, heh. Go figure. Thanks!

just gonna bump this, i just had the same issue and couldn't find anywhere that gave a fix. haven't tried it yet but i'm hoping it will work!
