About Crown of Dusk/Dark Sun and Lingering Dragoncrest Ring...
Does Crown of Dusk/Dark Sun boost Sunlight blade? I know it does for all other spells like Sunlight spear, WotG.. but what about Sunlight Blade?

Also does the Lingering Dragoncrest ring increase duration for Buff spells like Sunlight blade, replenish, etc? Or is it strictly sorceries only?

I also assume the ring of the firstborn, the one which boosts miracles also increases Sunlight Blade damage significantly?

Lastly, is the Crown of Dusk worth it even though it has the defense penalty?

see for yourself. quick look at them had mentions that the Crowns increase miracle damage because it stacks with something else, but I can't be arsed to know for sure

The Dark Sun Crown/Dusk Crown doesn't increase damage for weapon buffs. Lingering Dragoncrest doesn't work with miracles, and the Ring of the Sun's Firstborn also does not work with buffs.

The Crown of Dusk is worth it because it adds a 20% increase in damage for all magic/pyro/faith spells and it stacks with rings. The Dark Sun crown has only 10% and doesn't decrease your magic defense its mostly preference.

Lingering Dragoncrest Ring affects all sorceries and pyromancies that run for a certain amount of time, but has no effect on miracles.

All weapon buffs are not affected by bellowing, dusk crown, dark sun crown, or other magic boosting gear. Only Lingering Dragoncrest ring affects weapon buffs, and only the sorcery weapon buffs at that.

The crown of dusk does NOT increase Miracles. I and a few other people on the wikichat have tested that extensively. Same with the rings, they do NOT increase miracle damage. Excluding the Ring of the First born of course.

I'll have to test that out myself, since everywhere I have read says that dusk's crown does.

How did you guys tested it, I just used lighting spear on the first undeads you encounter w/o crown of dust it did 431, with crown it did 539, did two runs with each.

Sunlight Blade IS a miracle right?

none of the rings/headgear increase weapon buff damage

There is no way to improve the damage of weapon buffs using any miracle/sorcery boosting gear. They all have a fixed number that is multiplied by the magadjust of whatever you use to cast that spell. The only way to make them stronger is to use the highest magadjust item you have and increase your faith/int. Or in the case of moonlight blade rank up in the covenant.
