Please tell me.. Step-by-step the REAL way to get Solaire for FINAL boss fight..

I have followed the guides online, shortcuts, kill maggots, talk to solaire, kill centipede, etc. But does not work!

This is what I did on this playthrough.

1) Talked to Solaire first time at the hellkite bridge
2) Talked to Solaire again in Anor Londo bonfire before Smough & Orstein
3) Talked to Solaire at Altar of Sunlight
4) Killed the Sunlight Maggot at Shortcut to Izalith
5) Killed Firesage and Centipede
6) Solaire sits in the Shortcut to Izalith saying why why my dear sun why..
7) No Solaire sign before Gwyn...

Anyway, the fight with Gwyn was EPIC! I had 4 Flasks left before dying but finally managed to get that last parry down!

BEFORE fighting centipede, go to the daughter of chaos, join her covenant and donate her 30 humanity. You will get a pyro spell and you will obtain the ability to go through the lost izalith shortcut. This shortcut allows you to skip the whole of the lava section. The shortcut is located just before the demon firesage boss room (turn right, and go down the tree root) You will pass some bugs on the floor and you will be faced with a large door. Simply touch it. If done correctly solaire should be sitting on the ground. I think fighting the centipede is the trigger for him not to be there. Can I ask, do you know where his sign should be?

As far as I know, talking to Solaire after defeating Centipede Demon is the trigger for him to die to the Sunlight Maggot. Killing the boss shouldn't have any effect.

talk to solaire after you've killed the centipede demon (at the normal entrance to ilzalith) - this must be done after killing the sunlight maggot. then, return to the spot where you killed the said maggot and talk to him one last time. after that you should have the summon sign in the last area, right after the bridge.

Also I'm not sure if its required but I think you do have to summon him for gargoyles SnO and centipede. Gaping is optional. Not 100% sure though.

summoning him for the fights is optional; it's only required to talk with him.
it's also optional to talk with him at the sunlight altar.

ive done it and i summoned him in all boss battles and had him survive, the main thing is killing the sunlight maggots, usually you would use the chaos covenant to get the shortcut to lost isilith open but i believe you can run around through the area and kill them on both sides of the door and it still works.
