Lautrec fell off the cliff. Now I can't get his ring?

Reload your save, the ring will be on the cliff at firelink where he was sitting (assuming that was where he died).

I generally do his quest line instead of killing him at Firelink. Not a fan of the FaP ring because I like to have a free ring slot and Havel's Ring or the Wolf Ring is usually a permanent part of my builds.

I did the questline the first time, but since I didn't want to bother with it in NG+ I just kicked him off lol. My other toon is for pvp so I just wanted the ring for that.
