Which weapon and element are useful to kill the Four Kings?

I am playing newgame+, and it is much harder than I expected...
Just an hours ago, I tried to beat FourKings, but I could not kill each king with
lightning gargoyle's halberd +5 before other king come up
Of course I know how to deal with them, which is stick to their body.
Is there good weapon to beat the Four Kings?

Fire or Chaos weapons are the most effective. Generally you want to use a fast weapon, too. Good luck

I seem to remember one time doing lightning in ng+ with a gargoyle halberd... A long time ago I did use either a claymore or an uchigatana... However last time I made up the damage needed before the next one using the RTSR.

In all my SL1 gameplays i used a lighting hand axe, the damage is little more than fire/chaos.
The most important thing in this fight is dodge, if you can handle dodge/hit/dodge you'll be fine...if you think your damage is still not enough you have a option to use tearstone ring or power within.

Oh, and i don't recomend chaos weapons if you don't wanna waste a lot time farming humanitys

They are most weak to lightning, although any 2 handed weapon+ all havels works well under any circumstances.

On my very first character first time on 4 kings i used a +5 fire scythe, and on NG+ i used a +10 Divine Lucern(which actually did less damage).

As an alternative, try using Power Within for the fight. It'll give you a nice damage boost while letting you use whatever weapon you're comfortable with.

great scythe +15 sunlight blade and power within absolutely destroys them

Might want to think about getting the Power Within if DPS is your issue. Over in Blighttown.
