Ring of Fog shenanigans

So I was thinking, you can possibly get up to 3 rings of fog in the game, one from Forest covenant lvl 3, one from Shiva's bodyguard and one by trading lantern with Snuggly the Crow.
I was wondering if you can use 2 of them at once, and if so, will their effect stack?

Can't equip 2 of the same ring s at the same time. I remember how disappointed i was not being able to equip two FaPs.

The Slumbering Dragoncrest Ring intensifies the Ring of Fog though!

Ring of Fog, how good you used to be.

But then people happened.. whinefest and you got nerfed.. but hey, at least you're still of some use against the AI, more than can be said about TWoP.

It was pretty OP before, but now it doesn;t have much use. I say it shouldn't have been added in the first place.

As others have said wearing two of the same ring is not allowed, also you can't get a ring of fog from Shiva's Bodyguard, he gives the darkwood grain ring.

That's his equipment list, not his drops, the wikidot says his drops are:

"Shiva's Bodyguard
Humanity (x1)
Dark Wood Grain Ring"
