It really just depends on your weight load. As long as you're below 50/25% it doesn't matter all that much. Just search up it's weight.

And his armour I think is by the Chambe of the Princess. Go behind but stay on the second floor, it should be by one of the walls

Rolls are dependant on what armor you wear but rather how much % of you max weight is being used, there are 4 caps

25% Light roll with higher I-frame
50% Mid roll still decent at pulling evasions on PvE but for PvP you will struggle a bit more
100% Fat roll this roll has very little I-frames and a lot of recovery frames so it's usually worse than not rolling at all
100%+ You can't even roll, run or jump.

Also there is a ring that enhances the light roll into a flip with even more I-frames.

you can flip under 25% load with the dark wood grain ring.

you can get the ring from shive of the east's bodyguard when you kill him.

To give an idea on weight: At 40 Endurance, I would consider an armor set to be Medium if the Chest piece is around 10 units of weight, say, 8-13, and Heavy would be 13+, which puts Favor set in the Medium range.

A way to quickly gauge if an armor is going to be Light or Medium/Heavy, is to consider what it looks like. Most Light armors look like clothing, like robes, cloaks, dresses... but Medium and Heavy stuff is full suits of, usually metalic, armor.

If you put on a chest piece of an armor set, listen to the noise you make when moving. Most light stuff sounds like clothing, not just looks like it, but the heavier stuff sounds like clanking metal and such.

Though, with enough Endurance and the right rings, even the heaviest of armors will fall within the Light weight range :P
