DS + DSC Fix make my game crash?

hi guys, I have installed Dark Souls with both DS and DSC fix, i played the game before I installed them and it worked fine, but post fix the game cant even load, either it just isnt going to work or I am using an oudated version.

May i have either a link to both of the most recent versions or some suggestions, thanks :)

(To install it u just unzip and drag + drop the contents of the folders right? or just paste the newely unzipped folder with everything inside into the game? I guess its taking the contents of the folder and not the folder itself as the DLL files need to be with the .exe.

Running Windows XP, but i sent the same fixes to my friend on windows 7 and they work for him fine.

You need to edit the DSfix.ini file in order to install DSCfix. Make sure to read the instructions.

i did indeed edit the DSfix.ini :)
thanks for the links, im currently wiping darksouls and going with a fresh install then il try again.

Do you have the mouse fix? If so you have to edit the dscfix ini also

hi guys, followed links, i dont use mouse fix, still crashes on boot, any ideas?

My apologies everyone, i found and resolved my issue, i had accidently removed characters that are needed in the ini when changing the line, i had:

dinput8dllWrapper dscfix.dll

not:

# dinput8dllWrapper dscfix.dll

im such a newb xD, thanks for the help chaps :)

Unfortunately, you are actually not running dscfix anymore, after you added the '#' sign.
