Forgot my GFWL account, not sure how to play again now.

I recently reset my laptop to factory settings, and i wanted to start playing Dark Souls again. I was afraid i wouldn't be able to log into GFWL because everything got reset and i don't remember my GFWL account, and sadly i was right... I can't use another GFWL account either, because i won't be able to use the key i used on my old account. Is there some way i can retrieve my account?

Unless you used a throwaway email, just put in anything you think you would've used. When you get the right one, it should get a recovery email sent to it.

if you remember your gfwl email account, enter the game and when it shows you the gfwl login, click on: i forgot my password or something like that, it will open your internet explorer and then you put your email of the account there andd they will send you a password change request n all that ♥♥♥♥♥...

I can't do this because i actually don't remember the email i used, since i was having trouble with creating a GFWL account. i think i just created some random email to get the game working...

lucky! I'm having the same problem as you; just reinstalled it. I've tried all my email addresses and it still doesn't work... makes me think I'm screwed.

i tried my actual gmail account and not some random @live.com account and it worked

i am still fustrated that people like u are treated this way
