Where do i enter my cd key for dark souls?

I just purchased this game and cannot login to live, which doesnt really bother me aside from the fact i cannot save my progress.

Im running windows 8.1 and i downloaded latest GWFL and signed in but theres only two tabs, downloads and settings... it said to redeem my code i had to go to the marketplace tab which no longer exists.

so my real question is is there a way to save my progress without conecting to live because this bs.

or

can someone help me figure out where to enter my cd key in hopes of connecting.

i logged in and dont see any place to enter it :( only spot i did see was when i signed in on the website instead of GFWL i saw redeem code but havent had luck for past.... 12 hours or more with it. and thanks ill try the offline profile wayright now
