Best weapons for a hybrid Dex/Str build?

Im looking for weapons that have the best scaling in both Strength AND Dexterity. The goal of this build is to keep scaling damage past the caps of Str by leveling Dex, or the other way around.

practically all longswords except for a few have C/C scaling, bast sword has C/C, washing pole has D/C, Zwei has C/D, composite bow and dragonslayer bow have C/C, and some halberds have D/C

You probably aren't going to get the results you're looking for. A weapon that scales with both dex and str will have lower scaling than a weapon that only scales with one of them. C/C is the best you'll get, and at 40/40 you'll only have damage similar to a weapon with A scaling in one of them.

As an example, the longsword and uchi have 246 and 268 AR at 14/14 respectively. At 40/40, they'll have 408 and 420. Those points in str could be better spent on int or faith for a weapon buff.

Just look for any weapon that has at least a D in both str and dex. Murakumo is an exception to this. It's still a quality weapon since it requires 28/40 to use well.

Greatsword : Claymore / Bastar d sword / Flamberge.
Sword : Longsword / Sunlight Straight Sword / Dark sword.
Halberd : Halberd / Lucerne / Scythe.
Ultra great sword : Great Sword / Zweihander.
Rapier : Estoc.
Hammer : War Pick.
Axe : Hand Axe / Battle Axe.
Katana : Washing Pole.
Curved Great Sword : Murakumo.
Spear : Partizan / Pike / Demon spear / Spear.
Special Mention : Can use any kind of Black knight weapon as well.

Anything on the list (aside from Black knight weapons and Murakumo) have a C/C ratio or C/D D/C.
As you should understand now the cool thing about a Dex/str build is that you can use a very wide number of weapons. (almost every weapon class have at least one Dex/Str weapon)

So grab the kind of weapon you like the most and get one of those babes *_*

The Great Club doesn't scale with dex though. He's asking for a weapon that takes advantage of both dex and str. Quite a few of the weapons you listed don't fit that bill at all.

I find a +15 normal Broard sword has a lot going for it because of the speed at 410 damage.You can nip in between swipes from the likes of Artorias then block.it helped me beat him on ng+4 better than my slower heavier stuff and in his face where i like to be.Took verry little damage from him.Its nice and looks good in a screen shot.

Sunlight Straightsword has the same damage but better range I believe.

Wow guys I can't believe you didn't mention Balder Side Sword! If you're looking for a great weapon that scales with dex/str, this is the best one hands down! It swings VERY fast, great range, and even though it looks similar to a rapier, it drains your opponent's stamina like nothing else. This last benefit makes it especially good for pvp as you can stunlock others. Get that baby to +15 and throw a weapon buff on her (lightning resin if you dont want to invest in int or faith).

Pretty sure a smack with a great club will wipe someones stamina way faster. BSS is not much better in a quality build than as a pure dex weapon thats why I didnt mention it.

forgot to mention the cestus though its got better damage than dragon bone fist at 40/40
