DSfix 2.2

I want to buy this and i am aware that the dsfix mod is a must for pc players, I myself enjoy getting a solid framerate and being able to play in 1920x1080 resolution. I have noticed that the current version listed on dark souls nexus is 2.0.1, ive done some searches and it has also come to my attention that there is a dsfix mod 2.2 which can be obtained from http://blog.metaclassofnil.com/?tag=dsfix , I just wanted to know how many of you use this version of the mod and if so, is there any issues, is it easy to download?

use vers. 2.2. with the latest patch for the steam version! for me and most other ppl everything works fine, but it's an inoffical mod, so there always can be issues.
basically easy to install and to set-up if you do some reading/research and if you don't have any troubles editing config files with notepad
