Basilisk Tunnels is just unfair even for Dark Souls. Halp pls
I'm a level 29 warrior and having some serious time on Basilisk Tunnels. Basilisk jump outta nowhere, and there's is smoke everywhere, and I'm dead, and I'm cursed, and I can't get 4000 souls because I die everytime and Sunggy won't give me Purging Stone, and I cry everytime.

Someone help pretty please? I just used my last Purging Stone. This is worse than every (four) bosses I fought, at least I didn't want to travel half world and spend 4000 souls every time I died to them.

Sorry grammar mistakes, too mad to care.

- Don't stand in the mean looking scary looking cloud of scary mist
- Observe the frogs patterns
- Hit them while they're charging up
- Try luring out one at a time

You have to keep your distance from those things and pick them off one or two at a time, take your time and roll away when they spit smoke. Attempting to take them on in groups in melee is suicidal. Truth is you don't even have to go through that part of the Depths to get to the boss so... unless you're farming eyes of death or trying to get the ring of the evil eye just avoid them.

This. They look scary 'n' all, but they're actually really easy if just dont stand in the cloud(s).

I always wondered how people are so shocked about basilisks. A slimy, frog-like enemy spits a poop-colored cloud at you in a video game - MAYBE you should not stand in the poop-colored cloud. You'd think this is a fundamental thing like "don't jump in the pit that you can't see the bottom of".

I CAN OHK them, it's just everytime one more of these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ jump outta nowhere and there no room to roll and I'm cursed again.

Walk slower and take them on one by one, like any other enemy. Just hit them while they're charging up the curse cloud. Also make sure your weapon is sufficiently upgraded.

Turning human and carrying some soft humanity also helps, as both increase your curse resistance (albeit it puts you at risk of invasions). And this is the area with the enemies that drop Humanities, and a good boss to co-op to get more of it.

This video demonstrates it pretty well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zxN2baSo_Xc

You don't have to turn human to have curse resistance AFAIK, just carry soft humanity

Basilisks are a joke. By the time you meet them you can probably one-shot then and it's easy to hit them while they're winding up for the gas attack.

I did with a little help from the internetz.
I was dying every time because I didn't knew how many there was, so I was getting surrounded every time. But now I did it pretty easily.
Thanks everyone for the help.

how about looking at your stats screen, there's curse resist number
how about looking at armor pieces and realizing this is the source of the curse resist number
how about picking armor pieces with highest values available?
Try taking them out one by one, don't stand in clouds they make, attack them after or before they do their attack. Using long reach weapon like halberd might help too.
