Questions about NG+ [Solved]

So i'm pretty close to finishing my first playthrough (I've just filled the lordvessel).

Does anyone have a proper list of things I should do before going to NG+
I've searched around on google and i always find the same advice: kindle important bonfires, kill all NCP's and upgrade your equipment.

But i don't know if i've killed all optional bosses or if i picked up every important item.

So yeah, i'm basically hoping to find a checklist that will tell me what there's left to do.



And there is another question i have about NG+: Will the items i picked up in the first playthrough come back in NG+? (Like the weapons in the graveyard for example)

All the items you've picked up will go with you into NG+ except story-related items, like the Covenant of Artorias. The game will pretty much start over completely, except you'll keep any Sin you've acquired (but NPC hostility will reset, so feel free to kill any NPCs you want).

There's all the bosses for ya, as for the items better look for a checklist online because there's hundreds of things you can miss, though they do reappear on NG+

kill all the NPCS and farm for all later game weapons. most armour sets you will have but theres a few you can buy :) i dont think theres anything you 'need' to do however cerain things make the game more enjoyable

Alright guys, thank you for your quick and thorough response but i do have one more question:

Will the game warn me when NG+ starts or will it just happen instantly after i defeat the final boss?

Once you defeat the final boss there's no way back. NG+ will automatically begin once the credits have finished.
