DSfix issues. (Texture override)
I have installed DSfix22-19-2-2 in:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Dark Souls Prepare to Die Edition\DATA\
& I have set "enableTextureOverride 1"

However, it doesn't seem to have any effect, got the "Black Bamco Screen" & "HD Texture pack -446-3-0Lite" in the "DATA\dsfix\tex_override" folder.

(Motion blur & AA is off in-game, resolution is set to native)

honestly don't know why it isn't working but..

Lets re-install dsfix again. Delete everything dsfix related in the install dir.

dsfix folder
DINPUT8.dll
DSfix.cfg
DSfixkeys.cfg
README.txt
VERSIONS.txt

extract all the contents dsfix23 again to /DATA/

then enable override texture again in the cfg and start the game and see if you see the logo.

sidenote: was it working before?

My game was having slow downs/lab/mini freezes when I had enableTextureOverride turned on with the HD texture pack. When I changed enableTextureOverride to 0 my slowdowns went away. It's a shame because I have a decent video card 7850(1050/1250), I7-4770K, 8gb, and SSD drive. I think I will try enabling texture over ride but slowly add the textures back in.

Still doesn't work, only got the game recently. It has never worked =\
Bamber_FM 21 DIC 2014 a las 1:22
After loading up the game it does create a DSfix.log file, But that's always empty.
Still this is the only sign that its trying to do something at least...

It looks like the DLL just isn't hooking in. Is the steamapps folder whitelisted by your antivirus?
Bamber_FM 21 DIC 2014 a las 1:34
Antivirus does not have a "whitelist" option, though it has not flagged anything.
Tried with it disabled, to no effect...still no override =\
Frog 21 DIC 2014 a las 1:36
Long shot: Right click on the DINPUT8.dll file, go to properties, and click the unblock button at the bottom.
Bamber_FM 21 DIC 2014 a las 1:38
That button does not exist.
Frog 21 DIC 2014 a las 1:39
Ok. I didn't figure it would be there, but sometimes a foreign dll will be blocked and require unblocking to work.
