Infusing falchion with lighting. Can I switch it back to +10 normallly with any blacksmith at any time?

I want to infuse my falchion with lightning for now but I want to change it back to a normal +10 when im ready and if I can would it have to be at the giant blacksmith to reverse it?

I think you can, but if you're spending points in DEX I recommend keeping a single damage type and later upgrading to +15.

I'm not sure if you can though, never tried it with upgraded lightning weapons.

Im going for a dex build yes but I have some faith and my falchion right now doesn't do a lot of damage and lightning would help a lot in anor londo.

Lightning doesn't scale, nor does Fire. Only chaos scales, and it scales with Humanity not with stats.

Armored enemies have high defense against slashing attacks, so the falchion will be weak in Anor Londo. Fire is what the enemies there are weakest against, also occult weapons (clue in the basement).

Falchion is an awesome weapon, enemy defense is not that bad of an issue if you don't get hit. Also, keep it at +10, it's enough to go through the game until you can upgrade it to +15.

On a side note, the halberd is a very good weapon but be careful since crystal makes it have little durability.

The falchion will work, you'll just need to be patient because its damage will be low against the knights, sentinals, and boss.

Have you already reached the giant blacksmith? If so, you could look into utilizing the soul of Quelaag. And you should have at least a couple demon titante by now..

Yeah I have demon titanite but im making oroboros falchion build. I found the crystal halberd in a chest

Sounds like you've already made up your mind. Keep it +10. Maybe get some charcoal pine resin.

Also, go ahead and make the Quelaag sword. Surely you have a spare curved sword. The moveset is the same as the falchion. It's a good weapon for it's high fire damage, you'll need that against certain fire-weak enemies.
