dunno about finland but but germany-dusseldorf is my download region of choice.80 percent of my invasion attempt has been succesfully connected:).good luck pvp
btw,make sure you're lvl is not too high,around lvl 70-80 is alrdy enough

Mmmmm for some reason Finland gets me nothing, Lux is really unstable from pretty active to dead. Havent tried neither Austria nor Germany. But anyway if everyone could just agree in only one zone that would fix our problem until GFWL and the region lock are gone for good

Mmmmm We'll have to see which region has the upper hand in amount of people right now, after that we can spam around people so they switch to that region

for everyone who doesn't know yet: use Dark Souls PVP Watchdog by europa. it allows you to kick cheaters (and only them) and protects you from bad effects such as the egg-head (not the one taken normally in the game but only when a player uses cheats to affect you).
it also does other neat things.

Went back to Lux, so far its really alive in Oolacile around SL 80, i've been invading non-stop, guess i found my region.

I switched a lot until I finally settled on Luxemburg though I occasionally change to Finland. It varies a lot as far as I can tell. Mostly on time of day and whether it is weekend/holiday or a week day
