Using a Wii remote and nunchuck as a controller?

Yes it does. The Wii remote has 12 buttons a,b,+,-,home,dpad(4 buttons),1,2, and power. The nunchuck has two z and c. An xbox 360 controller has 15 dpad, a,x,b,y,rb,lb,rt,lt,select,start,xbox button.

They are both Classed as Xbox controllers so each button is mapped to a controller button by default.
