Hydra Alive With No Heads
So I just cut off the last of the Hydra's heads and it's still lunging at me. What the heck? :conwayheadscratch:

Is there anything I can do at this point other than try again from the start? If I do have to try again, does anyone know how to avoid this?

Are you sure there isn't one head that you're not noticing? I remember encountering the hydra, and its last head always missed (it was way to my right), and it was really difficult to reach.

While it is somewhat funny to me, it's also pretty darn sad as I just wanted to get this thing out of the way. :wizorbsad:

Also, just now, none of my poison throwing knives were able to poison it.

Afraid you're gonna have to redo. Pack arrows next time in case something like that happens again.

Maybe, just maybe you can hit it while it jumps to the other side. I'm not even sure if that can be done.

Well, I died trying to reach it's neck stumps with a spear. It's fully regenerated. Too bad but at least I got a screenshot out of it.

I can't believe you actually do so little damage to it that you can't manage to empty its healthbar before it runs out of heads, that is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hilarious. There's a bonfire further down the beach, go light that up before you leave at least

Using arrows is useful. I usually don't even cut all of its heads because the last one is very hard to reach and a few dragonslayer arrows just take more damage than cutting off the head. If you're past Anor Londo (or in NG+), use the dragonslayer bow, it often comes in handy.

I'm way underpowered. I don't plan a perfect build with my stats and I've been buying too much with my souls rather than leveling up. Still I've been running around killing things I've got no right to be killing so I'm happy with that. :)

Oh and I did manage to get to the bonfire; thanks for the tip.
