Build failed - changing stats?

So, i spent 30 hours leveling up a character to use artorias greatssword, the divine version, only to find out that it sucks and it has lower damage than what i was using before.

Is there a way to delevel or respect with cheat engine or something? I've never done that and i'd like some help.

At this point i don't care if this is considered cheating, i already have 2 characters on ng++ and spending more time to do another build all over again will just get redundant, i was aiming for pvp afterall.

Oh wow, it just needs a "let the bodies hit the floor" song. I actually opened that before making this thread only to close it as soon as i saw the notepad, but i guess i'll work with that. Thanks.

No prob. Also may I suggest a great scythe dex build. I just made one myself and I have to say its the single best weapon ive used in the entirety of the souls series. It feels like a faster heavy hitting STR weapon with a superior moveset and AMAZING range.

If the stats are respec'ed via the Cheat Engine while maintaining the current SL, does it show as a cheater (i.e. red) on the pvp watchdog?

I don't think so, watchdog detects mismatches between SL+equip and your actual stats (plus cheated items), so it probably won't detect it as a cheat
If you want to test it, copy your save, modify it then test with someone who has watchdog, and if it is detected as a cheat, backup your save

A mod for Dark Souls that allows you to detect and kick cheaters from your game, while giving you informations about the multiplayer (number of nodes, SL of people you are playing with), with also some good features like having the clock in-game, having a sound when a player join/invade (even when your game is in the background) or cannot be cursed/egg-fected by a cheater

Oh wow, If I ever get into Souls PVP ill be sure to get this. As of right now my connection is too fast for this games netcode and PVP boils down to nothing but lagstabs from miles away. Wasnt a problem before I upgraded my internet oddly enough, but now my reflex is just alt F4.
