Is the giantdad build still viable and fast rolling?

Giantdad builds can't fastroll at all, and are able to be defeated by stunlock builds with high poise/anyone with adequate skill, yet I still see them around so they must still work with varying degrees of success. If you mean fastrolling in general, then yes, it's entirely viable if not necessary for a build with low armor/poise IE Dex/Casters.

I heard it was patched so...I agree most giantdads I face get rekt and don't get back up to pwn me unless they get me in the stunlock

Since the Giantdad build was made, there's been a slight nerf on elemental weapons, so the GLORIOUS CHAOS ZWEIHANDER doesn't do as much damage as it used to, but otherwise it's perfectly viable.

With what weapon do you stunlock a Giant dad? This isn't Dark Souls 2 where a dagger can stunlock a fully armored target. Because he ends up with a 90+ Poise.
The largest weapon in 2-handed mod only get up to 76 poise damage and these weapon can not stunlock in any way.

Great Fireball is up in 81 poise damage but even that won't stun a Giant Dad.

You can get fastroll with Giantdad, in fact i do it.

Get off one of the weapons, i personally use the man-serpent(I know, not true giantdad) mostly, but change of weapon if i see the enemy has extremely low poise(stunlocking ninjas is f-f-fun)

Also, you must reject FAP

There is no stopping the giant dad... Should you by some miracle manage to break his poise he'll just get back up and pwn you.

Just run a bandit SL99. 48 Vit, 12 att, 66 end, 16 str and 10 dex.
Then just chaos the zwei and 2hand it with mask of the father and full giants with 2 black flames.
You also need a FAP ring and havels ring.

You are now a giant dad.

It's not a giantdad if it doesn't use the giantdad gear and stats. It's a person in a giant's armour set with a father's mask.

This. And besides, and giant dad doesnt bother with rolling, he just slaps that R1 and lets the BASS CANNON do all the work.
