Obtaining a second pyromancy flame

Hello, I was looking for some help for my pyromancy build. I wanted to get a second pyromancy flame (mostly for the badass factor, I know it doesn't do much), but I am not sure how without going into NG+. I started the game with the pyromancer class. I have heard that you can obtain a second flame by dropping the one you have (mine is +11 right now) and speaking to Eingyi or Laurentius, but I have tried with no success. Is there some stat or progress requirement that I have not met? Or is it for some reason not possible with the pyromancer starting class? If it is not possible to get one from an NPC is this an item that another player would be willing to trade with me for? Thanks for your help!

Laurentius won't give you the flame if you started as a pyromancer, sadly.
Eingyi requires you to have 11+ int, and to have done the egghead bit, so make sure both of those are taken care of.

If you still can't get it, I'm not using pyro on my current build, it would take me a bit to get to Laurentius, but if you can spot me a red titanite chunk or two (I was planning to trade it to Snuggly) I could grab the flame for you.

I do have egghead status but my intelligence is only 10, so I believe this is the problem. Thanks for your help!

I thought that Eingyi wouldn't give you a pyro flame if you already owned one..

Update: With my intelligence upgraded to 11, Eingyi gave me the flame after I dropped my own. Thanks for your help!
