Iron Golem kills himself?

Was playing on NG+ today and fought Iron Golem. I stunned him as usual, but this time when he went into the stunned animation, he actually fell off the platform. Did this happen to anyone else before? I was like, wtf just happened? Played DS a couple of times, but this never happened before, even when he was pretty close at the edge at those times. Game still manages to surprise me.

I've managed to pull it off once by accident. It's pretty well known though, easiest way to reliably do it is to make sure you are fighting him on the small bridge at the opposite end of where you enter the arena.

Alright. Well, I was actually in the middle of the platform, so I guess I just got lucky.

Yeah you're right, something like that happened. Couldn't stand to watch the whole video though, rather noisy and obnoxious.

yeah that happens, you can actually get some bosses to kill themselves by falling. i have seen Taurus Demon jump of the platform.

So yeah it can happen and some ppl use stuff like that it in their speed runs.

Wow. Still, I'm always pretty cautious when it comes to Iron Golem since he actually managed to slap me off the platform once lol.

There are ways speedrunners use this "falling off" to get a faster kill. It saves some time, but iron golem is easy either way.

Yeah I actually feel disappointed when I don't get him to fall.
